Hay un Nuevo RAID VFR en las tierras de mitos y leyendas!
Iniciamos esta aventura en la Patagonia Chilena, viajando a través de variados paisajes, enfrentando las más adversas condiciones meteorológicas y volando sobre una hermosa geografía inmersa en su plenitud por mitos y leyendas.
Algo de Historia: Zonas arqueológicas con más de 12.500 años fueron descubiertas en las cercanías de la ciudad de Puerto Montt, en la localidad de Monte Verde, donde vivieron antiguas tribus chilenas, como los Alacalufes.
Hacia el sur, en la mítica Isla de Chiloé, podemos encontrar las más interesantes leyendas acerca de brujos y barcos fantasmas, como lo son “La Pincoya” y “El Caleuche”. Esta figura femenina llamada Pincoya, causa estragos entre marineros y sus botes. Es sabido que “ella” hace que los marineros hundan sus embarcaciones, haciéndolos morir en las gélidas aguas del sur. Aquí es donde “El Caleuche” entra en acción. Este barco fantasma es conocido por sus misteriosas apariciones durante noches con niebla, donde su tripulación, compuesta principalmente por brujos y brujas, secuestra a los pescadores que naufragan en aguas cercanas a Chiloé… sin dejar rastro.

There is a new VFR RAID in the land of Myths and Legends!
Let's begin this adventure in Chilean Patagonia, traveling through various landscapes, facing the most adverse weather conditions and flying over a gorgeous geography that is fully immerse in myths and legends.
Some History: Archeological zones with more than 12.500 years were discovered near the city of Puerto Montt in the location of “Monte Verde”, where lived old Chilean tribes like the “Alacalufes”.
To the south, in the mythical Chiloé Island, we can find the most interesting legends about Wizards and phantom ships like the “Pincoya” and the “Caleuche”. This female figure called Pincoya, makes struggles with sailors and its boats. It is told, that “she” makes them to sink their embarkations and making them to die in cold waters. Here is when the “Caleuche” comes into action. This ship is known because of its mysterious appearances during foggy nights where its crew, composed mostly by witches and wizards, kidnap the fishermen that have died and recruit dead sailors… leaving no trace.

REGLAS DEL TOUR - Tour Rules |
Todos los tramos deben ser volados online y con meteorología real.
Vuelo debe ser efectuado en modo de tiempo real(1x sim rate), modo acelerado no permitido.
Aeronaves permitidas: hélice monomotor.
Velocidad máxima permitida en crucero: 200 KIAS.
Ponga atención a su plan de vuelo. Errores en departure/arrival airfields will NOT be accepted.
No se exige servicio de control aéreo o informaciones durante el Raid.
Todos los tramos deben ser volados en el orden indicado.
Desconecciones no serán aceptadas.
Respete las reglas de vuelo visual.
Altitud máxima: 9.500. ASL.
Reportes deben ser ingresados en horario UTC.
Incluir en los RMK de su plan de vuelo: /RAIDVFRZSUR LEGx (Reemplace la 'x' con el número del tramo) Esto es obligatorio!.
Tramos máximos por día: 3.
Todos los tramos deben ser volados en espacio aéreo de Chile.
Medalla: Division VFR Tour Award.

All legs MUST be flown online, with real weather.
Flight must be flown in real time mode (1x sim rate, no accelerated mode allowed).
As this is a VFR tour, legs have to be flown with single propeller aircrafts.
The maximum allowed cruise speed is 200 KIAS.
Please pay attention to your flight plans. Flight plans with wrong departure/arrival airfields will NOT be accepted.
ATC guidance is not necessary all the way.
All legs have to be flown in the right order.
Disconnection will NOT be accepted due to FS or PC crash reasons.
Respect the visual rules of flying.
Max altitude on the VFR tour is 9500 fts. ASL.
Remember to report legs in UTC and 24 hours format time.
Include as remark in your flight plan RMK/RAIDVFRZSUR LEGx (Replace 'x' with the leg number) It's mandatory!.
Daily Leg Limit: 3.
All legs must be flown in Chilean airspace.
